Diana Buchanan (she/her) is a clinical social worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont. She specializes in working collaboratively with transgender and gender diverse people and other members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as adults and teens diagnosed with ADHD, people with disabilities, and survivors of violence and sexual abuse. Diana’s experience also includes working with people suffering from anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.

Diana’s flexible and client-centered therapeutic style focuses on talk therapy in a safe and confidential office environment. Using the strengths-based framework of narrative therapy, Diana works with her clients to help them take control of the stories of their lives and find their happily ever after.

In addition, to talk therapy, Diana also offers instruction in meditation and mindfulness practice as a way to center and focus the mind and find peace and acceptance in challenging times.

Diana lives in Colchester, Vermont with four cats who have graciously decided to share their home with her. In the summer you will find Diana sunning herself at the beach and in the winter she’ll be curled up with a cup of tea, a good book, and a cat or two, while she waits for summer to come around again.

Diana’s office is located at 486 Main St in Winooski, Vermont.

Diana currently accepts Vermont Medicaid, BCBS, Cigna, and MVP insurance.
