The Vermont Center for Resiliency is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and values-driven Administrative Assistant to help support the day-to-day operations of our trauma-informed, resilience-based group practice.
This is a 40-hour/week full-time position with benefits, based in Chittenden County, VT.

About the Role:
As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our clinicians and clients are well supported and our practice runs smoothly. This role offers a mix of structure and variety—you’ll be juggling administrative tasks, problem-solving on the fly, and keeping many moving parts working in harmony.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting with client referrals, intake coordination, and scheduling via phone and EHR system
Supporting clients between visits by collecting intake info and helping track follow-up and care outcomes
Monitoring treatment progress and coordinating care with clinicians, medical providers, and psychiatric consultants
Providing basic patient education and helping connect clients with appropriate resources and referrals
Supporting insurance credentialing, preauthorizations, and communication with insurance companies
Acting as a liaison between our billing company and EHR system
Performing general office support, including supply ordering, light cleaning, and running local errands between office locations (within Chittenden County)

Has prior experience or a willingness to learn insurance credentialing and authorization processes
Is comfortable with technology, including EHR platforms (or ready to learn!)

Has reliable transportation and is open to local travel, within Chittenden County.
Must-Haves:
Ability to work on-site and travel between locations in Chittenden County
Comfort navigating confidential client information with sensitivity and discretion
A genuine interest in supporting mental health services and team well-being
