Alex’s therapeutic work is centered around providing a safe space for you to show up exactly as you are moment to moment. Believing in each person’s innate ability to cultivate meaning and wisdom from life’s challenges, Alex will collaborate with you to find relief from whatever is calling you to seek support as well as gain insight into what your experiences may be guiding you toward.
Rooted in psychodynamic and person-centered therapies with additional training in Jungian psychotherapy, Alex seeks to provide opportunities for you to explore your inner world as well as help you uncover the deeper patterns shaping your experiences. Alex’s approach includes traditional talk therapy as well as optional process-oriented methods such as expressive arts therapy, sandplay, mindfulness, somatic work, and guided imagery.
Alex welcomes adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, men’s issues, addiction and recovery, life transitions, anger, self-esteem, shame and guilt, spirituality, and purpose & meaning.
Alex has experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds, including culture, ethnicity, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic background and beliefs and he welcomes you to bring your full self into the therapy room.
Alex is a rostered psychotherapist in the state of Vermont and holds a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Alex is currently able to accept Vermont Medicaid, BCBS, Cigna, and MVP insurance, as well as self-pay (sliding scale rate discussions welcome as needed).
