Alex Weston, MA

Associate Clinician

Currently accepting new clients

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. I’m Alex (he/him).

I offer client-centered, depth-oriented psychotherapy. My approach includes traditional talk therapy as well as process-oriented methods such as expressive arts therapy, sandplay, somatic work, and guided imagery. These ways of working create opportunities not only to better understand yourself and the challenges you’re facing, but also to connect or reconnect with wise parts of yourself.

I view therapy as a collaborative process, aiming to meet you where you’re at. My approach is based on curiosity; about who you are and about what is coming up in your inner and outer world.

I work individually with adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, men’s issues, addiction and recovery, life transitions, anger, self-esteem, shame and guilt, spirituality, and purpose & meaning.

I am an LGBTQIA+ allied and gender-affirming therapist, and I welcome you to bring your full self into the therapy room.

Finding the right fit in a therapist is important. If you feel we might be a good match, I look forward to connecting and I can answer any questions you may have.

Alex is currently able to accept Vermont Medicaid, BCBS, Cigna, and MVP insurance, as well as self-pay (sliding scale rate discussions welcome as needed).
