Chris Bronzino
Graduate Student
Chris (he/him) is a pre-licensed therapist completing his graduate internship while pursuing an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health counseling from the University of Vermont. Chris received his bachelor's degree in Psychology and Music Technology from UVM in 2021 and has spent several years working as an ABA therapist with teens and young adults with autism, Down syndrome, OCD, and trauma backgrounds. He has lived and worked in Burlington for 9 years and values the opportunity to support members of his community.
Chris believes that a safe, collaborative relationship is instrumental to fostering healing and growth. He takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic, mindfulness, expressive arts approaches, among others, to meet each client’s individual needs. Chris strives to create a space where clients feel safe exploring distress and are encouraged to turn toward difficult experiences at their own pace with curiosity and compassion.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys playing guitar, seeing live music, getting out in nature, ice hockey, and spending time with his cats Schmidt and Winnie.
