Associate Clinician

Will be accepting new clients soon!

Loren Deron (she/her) received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. Loren has worked in therapeutic communities supporting people navigating unusual experiences, crises, and relationship challenges. Through this work, Loren has come to deeply value collaborating together, ongoing curiosity, and the importance of building an attuned and trusting relationship. Loren aims to support people to get to the root of challenges through exploring thoughts and emotions, along with what arises in the body, intuition, and dreams.

Loren works with individual adults who have unusual experiences sometimes understood as spiritual, paranormal, or existential crises, as well as psychosis or paranoia. Loren also works with individuals who experience anxiety, relationship challenges, existential inquiries, as well as people who have experienced trauma.

Loren’s therapy practice is humanistic and collaborative. Additionally, Loren combines parts work with psychodynamic and relational approaches that support the exploration of internal and external relationships, sometimes difficult to understand or get in touch with. While in graduate school, Loren specialized in learning about trauma-informed approaches. Loren has completed a 2-year training in Open Dialogue which supports individuals and families in navigating crises through facilitated and reflective dialogue.

Outside of work Loren appreciates hiking, writing, having dinner with friends, and jumping into cold water.

At this time Loren accepts Medicaid, BCBS, Cigna, and MVP insurances.
